Game List, Ages 18+

Most games by Art-Free Games are rated for ages 12+ and are family-friendly. A few of our games, however, are rated 18+. These games have adult themes, such as drinking, or have adult references on some cards, such as sex or drugs. There are no pictures, of course, since that's the point of Art-Free Games, but we do list these games as 18+ so that people who are offended by these types of references or who are playing their games with young children can make more informed choices on whether or not these games are right for them.

All games by Art-Free Games are sold on a print-on-demand (POD) site called The Game Crafter, meaning you're ordering directly from the printer and they don't print the game until you order it. If we were to go through a traditional printer we would have to order about 1,000 copies of the game in order to get it at prices low enough to sell it in stores. So even printing one game would cost multiple thousands of dollars. Going through a POD company allows independent game makers like us to be able to get multiple games to you.

For individual games, click on any of the game names below to see that game's page on The Game Crafter site. Individual game pages will give an overview, show pictures, and most will have a link to free, downloadable copies of the rules.

In Cheatin' Poker, you play poker...and you cheat! This is like no version of poker you've ever played. Cards have abilities that help you and mess with your opponents. There is a game board with cards printed on the squares. If you end the game on a square, the card listed in that square counts as being in your hand. Be devious. Be sneaky. Be cruel. And have fun doing it!

Play Time: 30-60 minutes

F.T.B. (Fantasy Tavern Brawl) is a comic game of brawling and drinking in a fantasy tavern. Have the Sultry Succubus team up with the Keeper of the Sacred Flask, knock a few heads, and knock back some mead. You brawl, you drink. What more do you need out of life?

The Overpowered Characters expansion adds stronger characters to F.T.B. and adds the ability to play with up to 6 players.

The Chug Dice expansion adds a pair of wooden dice to F.T.B. These dice are used to add some randomness to the Chug phase of your turn.

The Cursed Blessings expansion adds two brand new types of cards to F.T.B.: Curses and Blessings. These cards are similar to Boons and Banes, but they affect the player rather than affecting just one character.

In Guildmaster of Dais, you kill monsters to earn glory, while trying to stop your opponents from doing the same thing. There is a push-you-luck element to the game because you earn more glory per kill if you have more monsters, but only if you retire before you die. If you die, you lose all your monsters and get no glory.

Players: 2-4
Play Time: 30-60 minutes
Card game
Imaginarium was the first game by Art-Free Games to be for ages 18+ rather than for the whole family. This is a storytelling game of outrageous (and frequently off-color) imagination. Like many adventure games, you have a character and you use that character's specialties to get past challenges. Unlike other games, you do this by creating a story and earning dice based on how inventive and funny your story is.

Players: 2-4
Play Time: 30-60 minutes
Card game
In Oh, the Horror, nightmares have invaded the land and you are trying to survive...typically by sacrificing your friends. Do whatever you have to do (including cheat!) to drive your friends insane. As people go insane they are knocked out of the game. Last person left in the game wins.
